Do you feel that you have a better understanding of your grief journey?

     Yes; Very helpful; definitely;  I feel that I am not alone; so many different kinds and ways of dealing with grief; it helps to know that I am not alone;  very appreciative of the service.

 What did you learn that you were not aware of before receiving grief assistance services?

     The importance of rituals;  a technique for involving family members in talking about their loss that is short easy and doable;  more aware of support services available; the availability of support groups;  I can light a candle at any time to honor my loved one;  how to talk to my daughter and granddaughters;  very informative and extremely moving support;  life goes on, sometimes we just don’t know this until someone like you tells us;  I have gone to support group meetings, this continuation of service reviews and validates what I learn in the meeting;  it is okay to tell my story as often as I need to;  I am normal;  the feelings that I have experienced are normal;  affirmed that the feelings and emotions, good or bad.  That we are experiencing are normal, healthy, and healing for us;  many aspects of grief;  I had things reinforced and validated.
