Mourning Discoveries Support Specialists
In 2001, Linda completed training with the National AARP, Widowed Persons Service, Loss and Grief Program.  She is a certified trainer, who is qualified to provide training and outreach to individuals or organizations who are interested in providing bereavement outreach and support to grieving individuals. 
Linda is honored to partner with the following individuals who are deeply committed to Mourning Discoveries mission.  Their supportive care provided to bereaved families is exemplary. 
Each support specialist has completed bereavement outreach training as outlined by the AARP Widowed Person Service.  Each support specialist has been honorably selected by Linda.  Together, we have over 40 years of experience with talking to bereaved families.  Our promise to our families is to provide compassionate, meaningful support, for as long as there is a need.

Michelle Grande
Michelle is a Senior Social Welfare Examiner with Oneida County Social Services since 1993.  She has fulfilled the role of "Support Specialist" since completing training in 2004.  She has consistently provided our families with compassion and care.  Her dedication to our mission is outstanding and greatly appreciated.

David Roberts,LMSW, CASAC
Dave became a bereaved parent after the loss of his daughter, Jeannine Marie in 2003.  For the past three years Linda and Dave have collaborated on several projects in additon to partnering to facilitate bereavement support groups for the community.  Their paths have crossed resulting in a lifelong friendship, as they share a common vision, "to help make a difference".   Dave has been instrumental in Linda completing the "Family Care Series".  His on-going encouragement, support and editing expertise are greatly appreciated. 
Dave has been employed in the addictions field for 22 years.  He is also an adjunct professor in psychology and psychology-child life departments at Utica College, Utica, New York.  Dave also developed a topics course on Parental Bereavement issues, and teaches a Death, Dying and Bereavement course for Utica College.

Kevin Enea, Licensed Funeral Director
Kevin fulfills the role of Support Specialist for Mourning Discoveries.  Kevin completed his grief support training with Linda, and is also a certified trainer.
Kevin was born and raised in Little Falls. He is a graduate of Little Falls High School, Xavier University and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in Ohio, obtaining his funeral directors license in 1995. He is very active in the community holding memberships with many clubs and organizations.  Linda introduced her aftercare program to Kevin and has been the"Aftercare Coordinator" for Enea Family Funeral Homes since 1997.

Alphonse Belmont
Mr. Belmont enjoyed a long career in education and counseling.  In his retirement, he has chosen to partner with Mourning Discoveries and fulfill the role of "Grief Support Specialist" when needed.  In addition to being a long time family friend, Linda considers Mr. Belmont to be like a father to her.  It is with great honor that he is willing to give his time and expertise to aid in the fulfillment of our mission.

Diane has a varied and extensive background both in business and the natural healing arts, she has developed programs teaching simple lifestyle practices for stress relief and personal empowerment, healing and transformation.
